Open Source AI Agent Hackathon is a grant program from Global Agent Hackathon that funds developers and builders creating open-source AI agent projects. Held over one month, the competition awards over $25,000 in cash prizes and tool credits to the most ambitious agent projects across categories including best use of Agno (grand prize $5,000), Browser Use (grand prize $2,500), Groq, Firecrawl, Mem0, Graphlit, and more. All participants receive free API credits from sponsors such as Exa ($50) and Groq ($10). The hackathon is open to all builders working on AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool use, and multi-agent systems. The top five projects receive additional visibility through the Awesome LLM Apps repository.
