Partnership Grants from the Michigan Arts and Culture Council (MACC) fund arts and culture organizations, municipalities, and nonprofits across Michigan to ensure every community benefits from creative expression and cultural participation. Michigan Arts & Culture Council Grants Michigan Arts and Culture Council (MACC) coordinates grants to arts and culture organizations, cities and municipalities, and other nonprofit organizations ensuring that every citizen and community in Michigan enjoys the civic, economic and educational benefits of arts and culture.
The Council envisions a Michigan where communities celebrate creative expression and every person has access to, or participates in, arts and cultural experiences. Granting period is October 1 through September 30 each year. Information about MACC, its programs and its grants at michiganbusiness.

org Webinar recording on new grant process here Preparing for the FY25 Grant Cycle To prepare for the upcoming FY25 application cycle, organizations may start collecting the following required documentation: Unique Entity ID (UEI) from SAM.
GOV Charitable Solicitation Registration from Michigan Attorney General Important Note : Applicants should NOT upload the solicitation license, but save your organization's repord directly from the Attorney General website. Follow the instructions in the MACC grant guidelines very carefully.
Section 504 Self-Evaluation Workbook Proof of nonprofit status (such as a copy of IRS determination letter ) Proof the organization is a registered organization in the state of Michigan (including reports to Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs ) (Optional but encouraged) Claim, update, and complete your organization’s Candid/Guidestar Organizations that are current recipients of FY24 MACC funding are reminded to check Final Report deadlines which can be found in the organization’s signed Grant Agreement(s) available in SmartSimple.
If the personnel listed on any current grant records have changed (such as Project Director or Authorizing Official), please submit a Grant Change Form in SmartSimple to update.

Mission Support Grant Program (FY25) is sponsored by Michigan Arts and Culture Council (MACC). This program provides funding to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts and culture organizations in Michigan whose primary charitable purpose is related to arts and culture. Funding can be used for operational support, facility enhancement & equipment purchase, professional/organizational development, transportation, and arts education programming. Organizations are required to make a 25% cash match to their request amount.

The Mission Support grant program provides funding to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts and culture organizations throughout the state of Michigan that have a primary charitable purpose related to arts and culture.
Jerome Early-Career Project Grants is a grant from Forecast Public Art, funded by the Jerome Foundation, that funds the creation of new public art projects by early-career artists based in Minnesota. Two grants of $8,000 each are awarded annually to support temporary or permanent public artworks anywhere in Minnesota. Projects may be supported by public or nonprofit agencies but private commissions are not eligible, and a secured project site is required at the time of application. The program places special emphasis on supporting BIPOC and Native artists, LGBTQIA+ artists, women artists, immigrant artists, rural artists, and artists with disabilities. Eligible applicants are Minnesota-based individual artists with 2–10 years of generative experience. The application deadline was October 15, 2025.
The Local Cultural Council Program is a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council distributing $1,000 to $10,000 through a statewide network of 329 Local Cultural Councils (LCCs) representing every city and town in the Commonwealth. Each LCC awards funds based on local community cultural needs as assessed by council members. Eligible applicants include artists, nonprofits, schools, and organizations pursuing arts, humanities, and science projects. Applications are submitted directly to local councils and are typically due by October 16. Grants from most LCCs are reimbursement-based. Massachusetts Cultural Council funds the LCCs centrally, which then regrant to community projects.
