Supporting Thoughtful Engagement The Klau Institute seeks to incentivize rigorous scholarship on civil and human rights issues by Notre Dame faculty and students. The Institute is pleased to support students by providing funding for travel and other research-related activities, as well as opportunities for summer work with organizations engaged with civil and human rights issues.
Faculty support includes research and travel funding, as well as course development grants. Special funds that support work done on the topic of human trafficking are available to students and faculty.
Student and faculty support Student Research & Travel Grants Klau Institute student affiliates may apply for funding to support research and engagement-related activities Faculty Research & Travel Grants To further the impact of affiliated faculty research, Klau Institute funding is available to assist with travel and related expenses Undergraduate Summer Internship Funding Undergraduates with summer internships at organizations that fit the Klau Institute mission may apply for funding to assist with travel, housing, or other expenses.
