Our funding strategy focuses on three key areas: Supporting access to healthcare for underserved populations around the globe Improving the health of service, companion, and production animals that support humans Combating prescription drug misuse through safe disposal, innovative solutions, and mental health support Expanding our impact globally donated to our nonprofit partners in fiscal year 2024 Nonprofit partner spotlight The Cencora Impact Foundation’s international nonprofit partner, DKMS, is dedicated to saving the lives of patients with blood cancer and other blood disorders.
DKMS recruits potential bone marrow and blood stem cell donors to give patients a second chance at life. They provide access to transplantation to people in low- and middle-income countries and improve therapies through research. In FY23 and FY24, the Cencora Impact Foundation provided grant funding to DKMS to advance our joint mission of saving lives.
Both grants supported lifesaving blood stem cell transplant access for patients in India.
Fighting childhood cancer with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation Explore how Cencora team members and the Cencora Impact Foundation come together to support the crucial mission of Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a nonprofit organization changing the lives of children with cancer by funding critical research, raising awareness, supporting families, and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer.

In the aftermath of natural and human-caused crises, the Cencora Impact Foundation aims to provide supplementary funds that enable communities to rebuild, enact preventative measures, and remain resilient.
In FY24, the Foundation donated more than $1 million in proactive and reactive disaster response grants to nonprofit partners aiding those impacted around the world, including in Brazil, Central Europe, and the southeastern U.S. This included a 200 percent increase compared to FY23 in reactive donations related to water-related storms including hurricanes and floods.
Our approach to disaster relief goes much deeper than rapid response efforts alone. We also have a robust grantmaking process that includes proactive support to our strategic emergency response partners, including Americares, Direct Relief, and more. We believe in supporting Cencora team members who generously contribute their time and money to the causes that matter most to them.
