The amount of the grant award is dependent on the center’s licensed capacity and can be used to purchase supplies, instructional materials, and equipment to enhance the quality of learning and environment for the children served.
Funds are awarded to centers that fit the following criteria: Located in San Francisco; Serve at least 50% low-income children; Possess a valid child care center operating license that is in good standing from the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division; and Have a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status; All required application documents are attached.
