Resilient Food Systems Infrastructure Program - Infrastructure Grant Program is sponsored by Hawaii Department of Agriculture (HDOA) in partnership with USDA-AMS. This program aims to enhance resilience in middle-of-the-supply-chain operations and strengthen local and regional food systems in Hawaii.
It prioritizes expanding capacity and infrastructure for aggregation, processing, manufacturing, storing, transporting, wholesaling, or distribution of specific agricultural products (excluding meat and poultry). Funds will be disbursed no earlier than June 1, 2024, and projects must be completed by May 24, 2027.
A 50% matching fund is generally required, though certain historically underserved groups may qualify for a reduced match of 25%.
