Robotics for Good Youth Challenge - AI for Good Robotics for Good Youth Challenge Empowering the next generation of AI and robotics innovators. The leading UN-based educational robotics championship, inspired each year by a global challenge where robots provide innovative, practical solutions to real-world problems.
Why the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge The ITU launched the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge in April 2024 to promote AI and robotics education among youth worldwide and to help ensure that no one is left behind in the robotics and AI revolution. it is inspired each year by a global challenge in which robots are developed to deliver innovative and practical solutions to real-world problems.
As an educational, platform-agnostic robotics championship, it gives participants full freedom to design, build, and program their robots without relying on a mandatory kit, while also allowing them to source hardware locally.
In doing so, it aims to democratize access to robotics and AI education, help bridge the digital skills gap, and promote sustainable practices through the use of recycled materials, the reuse of robots across seasons, and the development of environmentally efficient robotic solutions. Represent your country at the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge Grand Finale 2026.

Past winners and funding trends for this program
The NOURISH Autoimmunity Digital Health Challenge runs three phases to August 2028: 10 winners at $20,000, then 5 at $30,000, then 3 at $100,000. It is a prize competition, not a grant — no indirect costs, no cost reimbursement, and a rule that quietly disqualifies the obvious applicant.
Read articleThe FY26 BLM Youth Conservation Corps NOFO (L26AS00064) holds a Round Two deadline of October 16, 2026 — $900,000, eight awards, $30,000 to $220,000 each. Its siblings are larger and richer, and every one of them explicitly bars Public Lands Corps work. That exclusion, not the dollar figure, is the strategy.
Read articleUSDA has obligated roughly $1 billion in emergency funds against New World screwworm and awarded $105 million to 40 Grand Challenge projects from 226 proposals. On September 2, 2026, DARPA pre-released a $2.1 million SBIR topic for networked screwworm detection. Four funding streams, four eligibility regimes, four clockspeeds — and most applicants only know about one.
