Students, Teachers, and Officers Preventing (STOP) School Violence Program is sponsored by Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), U.S. Department of Justice. This program provides funding to improve K-12 school safety and security by equipping students and teachers with tools to recognize, respond quickly to, and help prevent acts of violence. It supports evidence-based initiatives including violence prevention training, anonymous reporting systems, development of threat assessment and intervention teams, and other measures to improve school safety. Technology solutions such as anonymous reporting systems for threats of school violence, including mobile telephone applications, hotlines, websites, or other school safety technology solutions are eligible.

The STOP Grant is a major program under OVW that provides formula funding to states for victim services and training for law enforcement and prosecutors to address sexual violence, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.
