Texas Bar Foundation – Funding to enhance the rule of law and the system of justice in Texas The Texas Bar Foundation solicits charitable contributions and provides funding to enhance the rule of law and the system of justice in Texas, especially for programs that relate to legal assistance for the underserved, the administration of justice, ethics in the legal profession, the encouragement of legal research, publications and forums, and education of the third branch of government.
Each year, only 1/3 of 1% of Texas attorneys are invited to become Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation. The Texas Bar Foundation, the largest charitably funded bar foundation in the nation, is by invitation only. 2026-2027 Chair Board of Trustees “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.

What began as an ambitious effort to support legal education, legal services, and improvements in the administration of justice has grown into the largest charitably funded bar foundation in the nation.
