Lindsay Trust is limited to awarding grants to organizations in the following states: Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire & Vermont. If you have never applied to the Trust, we ask that you provide a letter of inquiry as your first contact. If you have previously applied, you do not need to submit an LOI, and you may skip this step.

org GRANT GUIDELINES - FULL GRANT REQUEST If you are requesting a Campership grant, please see Campership guidelines below Grant proposals must contain: PROPOSAL SUMMARY. doc - you do not need to use this form, however if you choose not to please use it as a guideline as to the information that must be included in a submission.
Narrative of the organization and description of need - can be included in Proposal Summary; COMPLETE audited Financial Statements for the last two years (2023 - 2024) or Form 990s; Budget for capital expenditures, if any; Estimates or quotes obtained, if any; IRS 501(c)(3) Determination letter Please submit your request electronically (preferably in PDF format); however, we will accept Word and EXCEL documents to the following e-mail address: admin@lindsaytrust.
org $1,000 - $7,500 for all grant requests. Proposals are reviewed on a monthly basis or more often as necessary. Letters of Inquiry responses will be sent via email and Grant Proposal Letters of Decision will be sent by U.S. Mail.
A status report for the grant awarded is required after the grant has been expended. You may download and submit the report form below. All grantees must wait one year from the date of the award before reapplying to the Trust, except for Campership requests.
