Funding Details: Water and Waste Disposal Predevelopment Planning Grants - Rural Health Information Hub Water and Waste Disposal Predevelopment Planning Grants U.S. Department of Agriculture, USDA Rural Development Applications accepted on an ongoing basis Rural Development offices This program provides grants to help low-income, rural communities with the initial planning and development of applications for USDA Rural Development Water and Waste Eligible applicants include: State and local governmental entities Federally recognized tribes Rural areas and towns with populations of 10,000 or Federally recognized tribal lands Eligible areas must have a median household income below the poverty line or less than 80% of the statewide non-metropolitan median household income.
