Workforce Development Capital Grant Program is sponsored by New York State Empire State Development (ESD) Office of Strategic Workforce Development. This program supports the capital needs of workforce training providers in New York that seek to enhance or expand their offerings. Funding can be used for modernization of existing training centers, building new facilities, or purchasing machinery and/or equipment for workforce training.
The program focuses on responsiveness to industry needs, increasing workforce participation, and improving training for underserved populations.
