The Workforce Development Challenge promotes and invests in innovative approaches to workforce training for underserved populations in the Buffalo Niagara region.
It scales up organizations doing high-impact, result-oriented workforce training that can demonstrate strong outcomes in training, job placement, and retention. Projects must foster workforce development in target industry sectors such as advanced manufacturing, health and life sciences, tourism and hospitality, clean energy, agriculture, and the tech sector.
