Aligned with the City’s priority to support young people and families through engaging summer and school-year experiences, this program focuses on building skills, stability, and long-term opportunity for Toledo youth. All applications must be submitted by 11:59 p. m.
on Wednesday, February 18 , for grant consideration. For the 2026–2027 grant cycle, most programs will be awarded as reimbursement grants . We encourage the use of city parks for your program!
We have a variety of different recreation and rental facilities available for use, pending approval. Estimated Funding Available $500,000 Min/Max Award Amounts $2,000 / $10,000 RFP Released February 4, 2026 Applications Closed February 18, 2026 Funding Period June 1, 2026 — Not all items may be eligible for grant funding when submitting a proposed budget.

If your program is chosen for funding, you will be required to: Register as a vendor with the City of Toledo Provide proof of commercial general liability insurance of $1,000,000 , with the City of Toledo named as an additional insured. If transporting youth as part of the funded program, provide proof of comprehensive automotive liability insurance , with the City of Toledo named as an additional insured.
Funding awards under $40,000 will require $500,000 of coverage. Funding awards $40,000 or above will require $1,000,000 . If these requirements will create an increase in the expense of your insurance coverage, this expense can be listed in your budget request .
