Beneficiaries – Capital for Kids More than 100,000 children are waiting in Foster Care for their loving forever families! Capital for Kids proudly supports organizations that educate, protect and encourage at-risk children through our annual Grant Program.
Organizations interested in applying should follow these steps: Step 1: Review CFK Guidelines Applying organization must be 501(c)3 in overall good health with proven track record Proposed program must serve children (ages 0-17) that are victims of poverty, abuse or neglect with supporting demographic data for both categories Proposed program must either provide a safety net (providing resources to children impacted by poverty, abuse or neglect) or help break the cycle of poverty, abuse and neglect through education, programs or filling critical needs Organization must be located and services delivered in Dallas, Tarrant and Collin counties Step 2: Submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) by May 1 via link in template 2026 CFK LOI.
Step 3: If invited to apply, submit as directed a Request for Proposal (RFP) by June 1. Previous beneficiaries from past 2 grant cycles may receive a copy by sending a request to laura@capitalforkids. org.
Capital for Kids is a network of volunteer professionals from within the investment management business dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children in need. Capital for Kids supports organizations that educate, protect and encourage the development of children in the North Texas area, and we also raise awareness of children in need of support. Our diligent grant committee evaluates each proposal submitted for funding.
Those selected as grant recipients fall in to 2 categories in terms of the scope of their mission and specific project. Our recipients are either Breaking the Cycle of child abuse, poverty and neglect through education, programs or filling critical needs or providing a Safety Net by providing resources to those children impacted by poverty, neglect and abuse.
