Grant Opportunities (Spring and Fall sessions) is a grant from CHC Foundation that funds nonprofits, schools, and municipalities in eastern Idaho. Idaho's second-largest private foundation and the largest in Southeastern Idaho, CHC Foundation offers two granting cycles per year: Spring applications are accepted January through February with awards in late May or June, and Fall applications are accepted June through July with awards in late October or November. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits or political subdivisions of the State of Idaho located within CHC's service area. Grants must fund fixed material assets — not operating expenses. The STEM Equity Grants program is an annual funding opportunity from Idaho National Laboratory (INL) that supports formal and informal educators serving historically underrepresented students in Idaho. Awards of up to $1,000 are available to educators working to expand science, technology, engineering, and math learning opportunities for students who face barriers to STEM access. The grants are awarded on behalf of Battelle Energy Alliance, which operates INL for the U.S. Department of Energy.
