HOW TO APPLY – Texas Bar Foundation Welcome to the Texas Bar Foundation’s Grant Application Overview The Fall 2026 Grant Application deadline is Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 5pm central time.
All grants must meet our mission statement: The Texas Bar Foundation solicits charitable contributions and provides funding to enhance the rule of law and the system of justice in Texas, especially for programs that relate to legal assistance for the underserved, the administration of justice, ethics in the legal profession, the encouragement of legal research, publications and forums, and education of the third branch of government.
Annual Submission Deadlines: January 15, 5:00 p. m. central time with notification of awards in late April.
July 15, 5:00 p. m. central time with notification of awards in late October.
Access to online applications will close at 5:00 p. m. central on the respective Grant Cycle application due date, even if the deadline is a weekend or holiday.
Please be sure you have submitted your online application before the deadline. Any online application not submitted by the deadline will be removed from the system upon close. You must first create an online account in our grants portal in order to apply for our grants.
